The Flower and Plant Show, which was planned to take place in Tuyap, Istanbul on February 16-18, 2023, has been postponed to a later date due to the earthquakes that took place in Türkiye and deeply affected us all. When the new date of the fair is determined, we will announce it to our valuable stakeholders.
Just ten days before the start of The Flower and Plant Show, of which all preparations have been completed to take place in Istanbul Tüyap between 16-18 February 2023, our country and citizens were stunned by two earthquakes of 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude respectively, which caused untold destruction in Kahramanmaraş and surrounding cities.
Although rescue efforts were launched and are ongoing, the information and data coming from the region show that thousands of buildings are destroyed and countless people are buried under the rubble. Our country, including state institutions and non-governmental organizations, has united and mobilized to heal the wounds of the earthquake victims. As Tarsus Turkey Fuarcılık A.Ş., we understand that postponing the fair organization will entail further preparation and work. But we cannot, in good conscience, expect our exhibitors and visitors in the region to participate in the fair at this time; we believe that our efforts must be directed towards helping our citizens harmed in the earthquake.
Accordingly, we have rescheduled The Flower and Plant Show, The International Plants, Landscaping and Supporting Industries Trade Fair to a later date. We will make a public announcement when the new date is determined. We offer prayers to Allah for our citizens who have lost their lives in the earthquake and for our citizens who are still suffering. Best Regards.
