A whole lot of buyers are coming for “Green Trade”!

Producers focused on getting a greater share of the 40-billion-dollar global ornamental plant market are preparing to write new export success stories at The Flower And Plant Show. Tarsus Türkiye Fairs brings its Overseas Buyer program – successfully implemented for the last three years at the Company’s organizations – to The Flower and Plant Show, the largest plant and landscape fair of Eurasia. “Thanks to the program, we will bring the Turkish ornamental plants sector together with alternative trade channels from different geographies throughout the world”, said Tarsus Türkiye General Manager Zekeriya Aytemur, adding that 15,000 direct buyers from Türkiye and abroad are expected at The Flower and Plant Show, which will be held for the 12th time on February 16-18, 2023.

The Ornamental Plants Sector of Türkiye is preparing for the February event with great anticipation. Open the Turkish ornamental plants sector to the world, the Flower and Plant Show will host thousands of buyers from Türkiye and abroad, including municipalities, public institutions, construction and landscape project companies, touristic facilities, construction markets, city planners and architects.

Aytemur: “Global buyers of the ornamental plants and landscape sector see trade with Türkiye as an opportunity”

Tarsus Türkiye General Manager Zekeriya Aytemur said that Türkiye aims to rise to the top of the global ornamental plant exporters league. “The Flower and Plant Show, which is the first and only international exhibition of our country in its field and the largest ornamental plants and landscape meeting of Eurasia, is an important opportunity in terms of sectoral exports. In the last fair, we hosted nearly 15,000 buyers from 50 countries. We are repeating the Overseas Buyer program, piloted for the first time in 2019 and achieving successful results since. Thanks to this program, thousands of buyers from different geographies such as Europe, the Turkic Republics, North Africa and the Middle East will come together with Turkish producers at The Flower and Plant Show. Our primary goal is to put our ornamental plants sector in the top 10 in the world export league.”

The Fair will be held for the 12th time at the Tüyap Beylikdüzü Fair and Congress Centre, featuring hundreds of new products, materials, equipment and technologies exhibited together, from indoor and outdoor ornamental plants to flower and floriculture materials, from seedlings and seeds to vertical garden applications, from exotic trees to national plants, and from irrigation equipment to landscape applications and garden accessories.
